Cancellations

If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 48 hours notice.  This courtesy, on your part, will make it possible to give your appointment to another patient.

Emergencies

Our office provides on-call service for emergencies, 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week by calling (479) 443-7771. Our patients have the comfort of knowing there is someone available to discuss their concerns at all times.

Health Insurance Plans

Dr. Atwood is not a preferred provider with any insurance company. If the procedure you desire is covered by your insurance company, you may however, still choose to have Dr. Atwood do your surgery. You will need to pay Dr. Atwood's fee in advance. Our office will provide you with the appropriate information and forms so you can file with your insurance company who will then reimburse you with the amount they allow for the procedure. Prior to the surgery you may contact your insurance company and inform them that there aren't any plastic surgeons in NWA that accept insurance. Sometimes the insurance company will pay the patient as though the surgeon was "in network" in such case.

Financing

Most medical insurance plans will not cover cosmetic procedures.  Our office is able to assist you with a financing program for elective medical procedures.  Patients may be pre-approved for financing with a low-interest monthly payment plan.  Our office staff would be pleased to provide you with further details.
